A. Vocabulary

violet       (adj): màu tím
mini mart      (n): chợ nhỏ
clothing store (n): | tiệm bán quần áo

hairdresser's  (n): tiệm uốn/cắt tóc

B. 1. How much is it? (Nó giá bao nhiêu?)

a) Thực hành với một bạn. Đọc bài hội thoại.
Lan           : Cái áo đàm xanh lá cây giá bao nhiêu?
Người bán hàng: 30.000 đồng.
Lan           : Còn cái áo đầm tím?
Người bán hàng: 35.000 đồng.
b) Bây giờ thực hiện các bài hội thoại tương tự.
A: How much is the blue hat?
B: It's fifteen thousand dong.
A: And how about the yellow hat?
B: It's twelve thousand dong.

C: How much is the green shirt?
D: It's twenty thousand dong.
C: And what about the red shirt?
D: It's twenty-two thousand dong.

2. Preposition (Giới từ)

a) Hãy nhìn vào bản đồ. Viết vị trí của mỗi tiệm (cửa hàng).
* - The restaurant is on Hue Street.
  - It's on the right of the bookstore.
* - The bookstore is on Hue Street.
  - It's between the restaurant and the mini-mart.
* - The library is on Tay Ho Street.
  - It's opposite the hairdresser's.
* - The park is on Tay Ho Street.
  - It's next to the hairdresser's.
b) Nhìn vào bảng. Hỏi và trả lời với một bạn.
- How far is it from the clothing store to the book store?
  It's four hundred and fifty meters.
- How far is it from the restaurant to the hairdresser's?
  It's four hundred meters.
- How far is it from the mini-mart to the library?
  It's three hundred meters.
- How far is it from the library to the shoe store?
  It's eight hundred meters.

3. Past Simple Tense (Thì quá khứ đơn)

a) Viết dạng quá khứ vào bảng.
  Verb          Past form
 buy              bought
 help             helped
 remember         remembered
 take             took
 send             sent
 think            thought
 talk             talked
b) Hoàn thành các câu.
- I played volleyball last week.
- Yesterday, I talked to my grandmother.
- Last December, Mom bought me a new bike.
- Dad worked in Hue a few years ago.
- I sent a letter to my pen pal last month.

4. Simple Tenses (Các thì đơn)

Nhìn vào nhật kí của Nga và hoàn thành đoạn hội thoại.
Nga: Every day, I clean my room, study English and help my Mom.
Minh: What did you do yesterday?
Nga: I watched TV, played volleyball and stayed at Hoa's house.
Minh: How about tomorrow?
Nga: I'll visit my grandfather, see a movie and buy a pair of shoes.

5. More, Less and Fewer

Viết các câu mới.
- Before there were two eggs.
  Now there are more eggs.
- Before there was one liter of milk.
  Now there is less milk.
- Before there were four bananas.
  Now there are fewer bananas.
- Before there was some butter.
  Now there is more butter.
- Before there were two tomatoes.
  Now there are more tomatoes.
- Before there was some orange juice.
  Now there is more orange juice.
