Nowadays, young people admire media and sports stars though they often do not set a good example - mẫu 1

In recent years, there has been growing concern over the admiration young people have for media and sports stars, despite the fact that many of these celebrities do not set a good example. I believe that this trend is a negative development due to its harmful impact on adolescents' morals and the potential threat it poses to social stability.

Firstly, the influence of media and sports stars who engage in questionable behavior can lead to moral issues among impressionable adolescents. Young people often view celebrities as role models, and when these figures exhibit behaviors like substance abuse or reckless actions, they may consider these actions acceptable or even desirable. For instance, many teenagers who idolize Hollywood celebrities like Paris Hilton are misled into pursuing a glamorous, materialistic lifestyle centered around parties and nightclubs. Similarly, figures like Kim Kardashian promote the notion that scandal and publicity stunts are effective ways to achieve success, sending the wrong message to the younger generation.

Secondly, the excessive reverence for celebrities in entertainment can pose a threat to social security. When celebrities face criticism for their scandals, their devoted fans may attempt to defend them aggressively, leading to public disturbances. This creates challenges for authorities in maintaining order. A notable example is the chaos that erupted during a Korean pop concert in Vietnam, where uncontrollable fans caused disruptions, endangering both themselves and the public. Such incidents highlight the dangers of blind admiration for celebrities and its detrimental effects on society.

In conclusion, the trend of young people idolizing media and sports stars who do not set good examples is a negative development, as it contributes to moral decay among adolescents and threatens social stability.

Youngsters today are idolizing famous people who may not be a good role model. This essay discusses why the drawbacks outweigh the merits.

On the one hand, admiring famous people like a pop singer or a football player could bring benefits to the young. The talents and achievements of idols can inspire teenagers to pursue their passion, thereby helping them reach their full potential. For example, my younger sister is a big fan of Adele, who is a famous British singer. She practices singing everyday with the dream of becoming an accomplished singer like her idol.

On the other hand, there are potential drawbacks of idolizing celebrities who do not set a good example. The main drawback is that the behavior of youngsters, especially adolescents, can be easily influenced. They will imitate their idols’ bad habits such as smoking, drinking alcohol or even abusing drugs. As a result, their health and future life can be destroyed. Another disadvantage might be that youngsters tend to spend too much time following their idols on social networking sites and attending their events. This can distract them from their study at school and even result in poor academic performance. Finally, some famous entertainers take advantage of their fame and make profits from advertising products without caring about their quality. In case of a bad quality product related to health such as food supplements being advertised by celebrities, this can adversely affect the health of many young people.

In conclusion, the drawbacks of shaping youngsters’ bad behavior, distracting them from their study, and being detrimental to their health seem to outweigh the merits of giving them inspiration. Given this situation, it seems that parents should pay attention to their children if they are admiring a famous person.

Nowadays, young people admire media and sports stars though they often do not set a good example - mẫu 3

The younger generation are having great admiration for media and sport celebrities although they are not perfect role models to follow. In my view, this could be seen as detrimental.

From one standpoint, emulating famous entertainment stars might spark changing patterns of fashion and behavior among young adults who are not mature enough to judge what is suitable within their society. As matter of fact, they show a propensity for copying what those stars say or do on TV, even if their actions go against the cultural value of some localities. Regarding fashion, the way Dam Vinh Hung, who is a renowned Vietnamese singer, dresses would be the onset of a modern yet rather unacceptable trend of fashion with exposed skin. Unfortunately, the young have yet to understand the long-term shortcomings of such a trend to traditional way of dressing which values the beauty and elegance of clothes such as the Ao Dai.

Additionally, such reverence for celebrities in the field of entertainment would possibly cause a detriment to social security under certain circumstances. A typical example of this is the chaos during and after Korean singers and musical bands’ show in Vietnam a few years ago when the crowd of fans went uncontrollable, which caused irritation for the locals and also danger to the fans themselves. Furthermore, if their idols were criticized due to their scandals, they would try to sugar-coat the situation or even trigger arguments. This would be really challenging for authorities to maintain security.

In conclusion, I suppose the phenomenon that young people idolize media and sport celebrated individuals who are notorious in some aspects is negative.

The admiration young people hold for celebrities is not a new phenomenon. Throughout history, youths have been inspired by people with outstanding athletic abilities. It is argued that this admiration brings with it more positive than negative issues/ramifications. This will be proven by looking at how sports figures both instill inspiration and teach life lessons to young people.

Firstly, celebrities often display extremely developed skills, which can help to spur young people towards a life full of physically active. For instance, school children are often driven to exercise in an attempt to emulate superstars such as Novak Djokovic, Ronaldo, and Messi. As this additional exercise is good for their health, it is difficult to argue that the inspiration celebrities leave upon young people is entirely a bad thing. Thus, this shows that the admiration people hold for sports stars has positive implications/reasons.

Although the negative character traits of many sports celebrities are often called into question, it is felt the public mistakes professional athletes make can act as good morality lessons for young people. A good image of this occurred when Canadian runner Ben Johnson dishonorably lost an Olympic gold medal due to steroid use. This incident showed young people around the world that drug use is a shameful practice. As this example illustrates, the public errors athletes commit can often act as good lessons for adolescents.

After looking at the above, it is felt to hold athletes in esteem does not bring with it entirely negative consequences. It is assumed the historical admiration people retain for sports stars is not going to change into the foreseeable future.

In the modern society, youngsters often look up to well-known entertainers and athletes. Many people believe that these celebrities are not good role models for young individuals. Thus, they are concerned about the influence of such admiration. From my perspective, whether that idolisation is beneficial or detrimental depends merely on the young generation’s attitudes.

On the one hand, youngsters’ adoration towards celebrities can bring about several positive effects to themselves. First of all, individuals who are selective will filter out all the negative characteristics and only opt for good traits in famous figures to emulate. This consciousness ensures that adolescents will not blindly reduplicate improper actions from celebrities. For example, even though singer Michael Jackson was involved in several allegations, his talent, perseverance and work ethic still inspire many youngsters around the world. Secondly, teenagers can also take valuable lessons from their idols’ mistakes. Since celebrities’ actions are often publicized, adolescents have the opportunities to observe various examples of misconducts and learn from them. For instance, upon hearing the doping accusation of Louis Armstrong, many of the biker’s fans realize that there is no shortcut which leads to success and honesty should be of paramount importance.

On the second hand, idolizing entertainers and sportsmen may result in adverse effects. To begin with, since most adolescents are malleable, bad examples from celebrities can develop moral issues in them. Many teenagers who look up to Hollywood figures such as Paris Hilton believe that they should pursue a glamorous, material life with parties and nightclubs. Other celebrities like Kim Kardashian present a wrong message to the young generation, suggesting that using scandals and PR stunts are the most effective methods to gain attention and be successful. Furthermore, there are considered to be better role models for the young to hold in high regards, such as activists or philanthropists. However, the popularity of celebrities may sway teenagers’ interest away from these individuals. To be more specific, many teenagers do not care much about politics and other social issues since their attention is solely devoted to entertaining figures.

All things considered, I believe that the adoration which youngsters dedicate to media and sports stars have both strengths and weaknesses. While this admiration allows youngsters to emulate celebrities’ good traits and draw a lesson from their mishaps, it also develops moral issues in them and takes the spotlight away from the more deserving role models.

Nowadays, young people admire media and sports stars though they often do not set a good example - mẫu 6

It is true that many media and sports celebrities are idolized despite the fact that they are not good role models. I believe that this reality is negative because fans can be exposed to many of the stars' inappropriate behavior.

First of all, many sports stars, despite their talent, still have scandals that set negative examples for young fans. Many football stars have impressive performances on the field and are even recognized for their contribution to the sports industry but are later exposed as unfaithful people. Gerard Pique, a former football star at Barcelona, perfectly exemplifies this when his extramarital affairs came to light and abruptly ended his 12-year marriage. Admittedly, many of Pique's supporters might say that the scandal has nothing to do with his professional career: However, infidelity is obviously unacceptable, and it still sets a detrimental mindset for his fans.

Admiring notorious celebrities also has many downsides for young fans. Many so-called singers in the entertainment industry gain fame only from their catchy yet meaningless songs, and many of whom cannot even sing live. Catapulted into stardom, many of these entertainers become arrogant and not only do they refuse to take constructive feedback, but they might also think of others as inferior. This inappropriate manner can easily affect impressionable young fans as a result, causing them to think that once one has become famous, he no longer needs to learn.

In conclusion, famous figures in the field of media and sport are very much influential among the young, and fans can be negatively affected as a result if their idols fail to uphold certain standards of behavior.

Nowadays, young people admire media and sports stars though they often do not set a good example - mẫu 7

The younger generation tends to admire celebrities from the media and sports realms even though they may not be ideal role models. From my perspective, this could be regarded as harmful.

Moreover, the adoration for entertainment celebrities could potentially pose a threat to public order in specific situations. An illustrative instance of this occurred during a concert by Korean singers and bands in Vietnam a few years ago, where fan frenzy spiraled out of control, leading to irritation among locals and endangering the fans themselves. Additionally, if their idols faced criticism over scandals, fans would attempt to downplay the situation or even engage in arguments. This presents a significant challenge for authorities in maintaining security.

To summarize, I believe the trend of young people idolizing media and sports figures, despite their negative traits, is unfavorable.
