People should follow the customs and traditions when people start to live in a new country - mẫu 1

Moving to a different part of the world can be an exciting and challenging experience for many people, as they can meet new people, explore newplaces, and taste new cuisines. Meanwhile, it is essential to understand and respect the local customs and traditions of the host country, even when some of these conflict with the newcomers' own preferences.

On the one hand, I strongly believe that individuals should respect and follow the local customs and traditions of the country they have chosen to live in. Every country has its unique culture, beliefs, and practices that have been developed over centuries. As a foreigner, it is crucial to understand and appreciate these customs, which can help to integrate into the local community. For example, in Japan, it is customary to bow when greeting someone, and failure to do so can be considered rude.

On the other hand, it is essential to acknowledge that some customs and traditions might not align with an immigrant's personal beliefs or values. For instance, in some countries, women are expected to dress modestly and cover their heads, which may conflict with their personal freedom and expression. In such cases, it is crucial to engage with the local community and find a balance that respects both local customs and personal values.

In conclusion, I believe that for people who choose to live in another country, it is essential to find a balance that respects both local customs and personal values. By doing so, individuals can build meaningful connections and become active members of their new communities.

The globalised world these days makes it simpler than ever before for people to relocate and start building a life in a new country. As everyone comes from their own cultural background, a question arises of whether or not people should be expected to follow the customs of their host country. I completely agree with the view that while learning about the local customs may require some time and effort, it is valuable and will aid the integration of the newcomers into society.

In many cultures, following the local customs means showing respect, which is an important moral value in nearly every culture. The opposite is also true: disregarding traditions is often seen as a sign of disrespect. In order to establish good neighbourly relationships and feel welcome in the new place, it is important to demonstrate the effort to become part of the community. By expressing an interest in learning traditions, new arrivals gain a chance to interact with their neighbours and colleagues, get to know them and build some connections in the new country.

Another positive aspect is the enhanced feeling of belonging that people get from participating in activities others around them are doing. When a national festival is in full swing, standing on the sidelines might make people feel excluded and perhaps even homesick, whereas joining others opens up opportunities to attend special events together, go to parties, meet new people and feel part of the celebrations. In Australia, for example, Easter is a very special time of the year and some of the traditional activities include Easter egg decoration, gifting and baking hot cross buns; sharing your designs and recipes with others is an excellent conversation starter.

In conclusion, learning the customs and traditions of one's new country doesn't mean a loss of their own culture. On the contrary, it is an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of cultural connections and should be embraced as a positive experience.

Many people argue that foreigners should adapt to the local customs and traditions when they come to reside in a new country. I completely agree with this view.

Newcomers will certainly face difficulties if they do not conform to the norms of social behaviour in the host country. Firstly, it will become almost impossible for them to blend into their new environment. For example, an entrepreneur who comes to live in a new country and starts up a business must be aware of the business practices of that country. There are bound to be many pitfalls, not only legal ones but also simply in terms of winning and keeping customers. Secondly, recent immigrants might fall foul of the law if they do not respect the behaviour and customs of locals. In Singapore, for instance, residents will consider newcomers dirty and ill-mannered if they litter the street or spit gum in public places.

There are also many benefits for foreigners when they do adopt the customs and traditions of their new country of residence. One advantage is that local people will be more welcoming when they feel that the newcomers are showing respect for the local way of life. The establishment of closer links with the host community might lead to greater integration and mutual understanding. Another benefit is the richness of the experience which newcomers will gain from enjoying aspects of local customs and traditions, enabling them to participate in community life and avoid social isolation. During festivals and national holidays, especially, they will feel like they ‘belong’ in their new country.

In conclusion, I would argue that it is essential for new residents to follow the traditions and habits of locals in the host community in order to integrate fully into society.

People should follow the customs and traditions when people start to live in a new country - mẫu 4

In the modern busy life, there are a large number of immigrants who have been willing to have a comfortable life in other nations. Many advocate that people should conform to the local customs and traditions when they settle in a new country. From my respective, I strongly agree with this idea because of some problems and benefits that people can face with them.

There are two important reasons why newcomers should blend into the local culture in the host country. Firstly, the refusal to adapt to host environment would create a cultural barrier for immigrants. This leads to social isolation, which has negative influences on people’s lives. Secondly, it is logical/true that limited knowledge of local customs may result in some illegal actions in the host country and make local/native people unpleased. For instance, in Singapore, one of the cleanest countries in Asia, local residents consider anyone dirty and ill-mannered if they litter the street or spit gum in the public.

Newcomers can gain some benefits if they adopt the customs and traditions of a new country. One benefit is that if immigrants behave in accordance with the local norms, they will be accepted easily by local inhabitants, and as a result, they can receive/gain respects and affections as well as some help from the local. For example, when the enterprises want to expand their production in a new country, they must be aware of business practices there, which provides them with useful information to maximise profits. Another benefit is that newcomers might gain the richness of knowledge by virtue of the local customs and traditions, which enables them to actively participate in the activities of the community. In many festivals, people are able to participate/join freely and feel harmonious like their own country.

In conclusion, I would argue that people who dwell in a new country should follow the customs and traditions which local people observe.

Many people argue that foreigners should observe the local customs and traditions when they come to reside in a new country. I purely agree with this opinion.

There are important reasons why people should follow the customs when they settle in a foreign country. Firstly, if newcomers behave according to the local norms, the resident population will accept them much more readily, they will make friends more easily, and they will earn respect. For example, an entrepreneur who comes to live in a new country and starts up a business must be aware of the business practices of that country. There are bound to be many pitfalls, not only legal ones but also simple regarding winning and keeping customers by observing the local way of doing business. Secondly, recent immigrants are likely to be shunned if they upset local sensibilities. In Singapore, for instance, residents will consider them dirty and ill-mannered if they litter the street or spit gum in public places.

In their adopted homeland, newcomers should also adopt the traditions which local people observe. The principal benefit is the richness of the experience which new residents will gain from enjoying aspects of the local traditions, enabling them to participate in community life and avoid social isolation. During festivals and national holidays, especially, they will feel like they “belong” in their new country. For example, Chinese people in the UK not only celebrate Chinese New Year, but they also often attend the local New Year celebrations and fireworks in London and other major cities.

In conclusion, I would certainly argue that people who settle in a new country should follow local customs and embrace the traditions which residents observe.
