In the current world, most of the people like to celebrate any special occasion by inviting a lot of people. The discussion that throwing too much money to hold parties like birthday, marriage or any other special event is a debatable one, with strong logics provided by the supporters of both the views.

A few argue that the special events need to be celebrated grandly, as it happens only a few times in a lifetime. For instance, marriage is considered to occur once in a lifetime and the people want to have the memory of that event until their last breath. This is possible only when the location is well decorated, and all of the friends and the neighbours are invited. By spending limited money, it is almost impossible to achieve something special which will be remembered forever. Thus, it is obvious, why some people incline towards this point of view.

On the other hand, some people believe that it is not right to spend a huge amount money on personal celebrations as there are a lot of people across the globe under starvation. For example, in most of the African countries, many people do not even have food to eat for a single meal a day. In case, the money spent on celebration can be sent to the people who are really in need, definitely, a lot of life can be saved. Hence, it is clear why a few individuals refute with high spending parties.

Considering the memories of special occasions as well as starvation, spending much money for parties has been supported and refuted by many. Even though memories of some special events are important, saving human life from starvation is more important. Hence, in my opinion, it is necessary to cut down the spending on parties and spend that money for the poor people’s food.

Throwing parties can be expensive. While some people do not find these fancy parties worth what they cost, others believe parties are important to both individuals and the society.

People choose to throw parties for a number of reasons. For starters, parties can make better teams. Project kick-off parties are good opportunities to break the ice and help team members to know each other better. Victory parties create a sense of success and belonging. Companies do not see parties as wastes of money and allocate budget to support such events. Moreover, parties often leave good memories. From our own experiences, we all have happy memories of our birthday parties when we were little. Every family has great photos took on family parties in their album. In addition, contrary to what some people believe that spending on parties is a waste of social resources, parties actually create value, either by employing people in the party planning business or by offering people better party experiences.

The popularity of parties, however, causes some tension in the society. Parties are hard on introverted people who find themselves uncomfortable in parties. This is a clinic symptom which psychologists call it “social anxiety disorder”. There are other ways to celebrate important events that may have greater value for their cost. For instance, companies could send out gifts after successful projects and parents could take their children on family trips to celebrate birthdays.

In my opinion, while a party is a form of social event that brings many benefits to individuals and the society, other choices should also be considered, either to cut spending or to relieve the stress of those who are not fond of parties.

It is argued by people that lots of money are wasted on celebrations such as wedding and birthday parties, while others believe they are crucial for some people and society. In my opinion, I think it is unnecessary for us to spend a lot.

On the one hand, for some people, lavish celebrations are essential in their life. High-class individuals such as businesspeople hold grand parties to showcase their wealth around their community as they will be exposed to media; for instance, the wedding between the two biggest companies in the nation. Besides, the CEOs can improve the relationship between the shareholder and business partners and if fortunate, they might result in having stronger connections. In addition, some birthday celebrations can be for the purpose of doing good deeds like fundraising, which is for our society. These good events should be held majestically.

On the other hand, spending a huge amount of money on a celebration is a waste of money. It is not worth spending a fortune, which we worked our whole life, on mere parties. Since the majority of the people are not in the upper class, it would put us under financial strain. We should not trade the euphoria we will achieve for once with the consequence of being in extreme debt. Happiness can still be attained by having a small yet memorable party with our family and friends. Moreover, we could use the money on better means such as education, healthcare and career development.

In conclusion, I believe such luxurious celebrations are for rich people, who are under peer pressure or displaying good deeds, but some individuals can be under tremendous financial distress. Nevertheless, despite being rich, average or poor, we should not be extravagant and use our money wisely.

It is assumed by many that the celebration of such events as wedding or birthday parties equates to squandering money, whereas others argue that this activity is of significance to both individuals and society. The following essay will elaborate on both viewpoints before stating my personal opinion on this contentious matter.

On the one hand, the belief that it is a waste of money to spend on celebrating is legitimate to a certain extent. Firstly, the celebration of family occasions namely birthdays, weddings or anniversaries is only conducted within short spans of time, specifically several hours. Hence, rather than lavishing money on these evanescent events, it would be more advisable to invest in more pragmatic aspects such as utility, saving or children’s education. Secondly, the act of celebrating familial events in an extravagant manner could also stimulate the materialistic lifestyle. Driven by the desire to flaunt their wealth and social status, some individuals distribute a hefty number of financial resources to celebrations, which could further aggravate the money-oriented mindset among others.

On the other hand, it is also justifiable to claim that the act of celebrating can exert beneficial influence on both individual and societal scale. Indeed, since weddings, birthdays or births of a child are special occasions, acknowledging the importance of one’s memorable life events, it is a genuine demand to celebrate them joyfully. This would not only serve as a commemoration of a family’s milestone but also greatly enhance their mental well-being and satisfaction. In addition, such celebrations also create precious opportunities for family union, enabling family members to connect and communicate more intimately. Considering the fact that each family is a unit of society, strengthened familial rapport would certainly foster a sense of social bonding effectively.

On balance, proponents of both perspectives irrefutably have valid arguments for their convictions. Personally, I would contend that families should spend money on celebrations appropriately based on their individual demand and financial condition to optimally experience these memorable occasions.

Many people are all about holding parties to mark a significant event or to recall memories while others think that it is not necessary to waste money on celebrations. In my opinion, I profoundly believe that holding parties or celebrations is essential for those who want to keep memories and have fun moments with friends and relatives.

On the one hand, there are many people who do not want to celebrate parties due to their financial burden. For example, when my grandfather and grandmother got married, they did not have enough money to hold a wedding party. In addition, some of the aged do not want to celebrate birthday parties because of aged obsessions. All of these things may lead to the decision that they do not think celebrations are good choices.

On the second hand, I believe that it is more beneficial for people to hold parties and celebrations. First and foremost, this is the best way for them to maintain memorable moments. There is no doubt that the more parties they have, the more fun they will have. When they feel depressed, these memorable moments can stimulate their motivation which helps them avoid being upset. Secondly, it is not a controversial issue when holding parties if they know how to choose a suitable size and form of the parties. Sometimes, a gathering can be considered as a great chance for them to be closer and more sympathetic.

In conclusion, it seems to me that if we have a thorough balance between holding parties and finance, we can design charming parties without worry.

In the present world, most people prefer to celebrate any special event by inviting many people. The discussion which throwing too much cash to hold parties such as birthday, birthday or some other special occasion is a debatable one, with powerful logics supplied by the fans of the viewpoints.

For example, the union is believed to happen once in a life, and the people today with the memory of the event until their very last breath. That can be possible only when the place is nicely decorated, and everyone and the neighbors are encouraged. It is all but impossible to attain something particular that will be remembered forever by spending restricted cash. Thus, it is clear why some people today incline towards that point of view.

On the other hand, some people today think it is not appropriate to devote a massive amount of money to private celebrations since many people are under starvation. By way of instance, in many African nations, a lot of do not have food to eat to get one meal per day. In the event, the party’s cash can be routed to the men and women in need, undoubtedly, a great deal of life could be saved. Consequently, it is clear why some people refute with higher spending parties.

Thinking about the memories of special events in addition to starvation, spending money for celebrations has been encouraged and refuted by several. Therefore, in my opinion, it is imperative to decrease the spending parties and invest that money in poor people’s meals.

Human beings are gregarious and thrive when socialising. The act of giving is often as pleasurable as receiving and hosting an opulent party as can be afforded makes an occasion extra special. I think that it is beneficial for society and individuals to have occasions to look forward to, most people feel much happier when they are planning and looking forward to a special event.

Some cultures place a high value on social occasions such as weddings, birthdays and other milestones in life and it is tradition to invite as many guests as possible. For them there is no doubt that no expense should be spared. No-one can be left out without feeling offended. We have seen in the lock-down of Covid-19 how many have been distressed by the banning of social gatherings, couples have not been able to hold weddings, and even funerals have been held without friends and relatives being able to comfort the bereaved.

Whether or not families can afford to spend a lot, there are people who will think of it as a waste of money, once the occasion is over there is no financial benefit or they may prefer to spend on holidays. Some parties do not go to plan, or guests argue and the whole occasion is spoiled. They may consider it preferable to spend the money on a new car or jewelry and have something which will last longer than a party. However, memories last a lifetime.

To conclude, I think that society and individuals benefit from special events, they bring people together and the feelings of belonging and being included contribute towards the well-being of society as a whole. Those little extras which may seem extravagant make the occasion special and more memorable.
