It is clear that walking was by far the most popular physical activity in all the surveyed years, while golf was the least popular activity. Additionally, the percentages of people who enjoyed walking, swimming and rugby increased, whereas the figures for those who enjoyed other sports decreased over the measured years.

In 1995, walking was the most popular activity, chosen by 40% of the survey participants, while playing snooker and tennis accounted for around 30%. In contrast, about 23% of people chose swimming, while only 18% said they were interested in golf. Meanwhile, approximately 25% of survey respondents chose rugby as their preferred sport.

In 2005, slightly more people preferred walking, with the figure rising to just under 45%, but there was a significant decline in the figures for tennis and snooker, to about 22% each. The figures for golf remained the same, at around 15%, as opposed to the figures for swimming and rugby, which experienced considerable gains in popularity to over 25% each.

Overall, it is clear that walking was the most favorite sport in UK over the period shown. In addition, the interest of Uk people in walking, swimming and rugby increased over that time, but opposite was true for snooker, tennis and golf. 

Regarding the chart, in 1995, over 40% of survey participants said they liked walking, compared to around 30% choosing snooker and tennis. On the other hand, golf was the least common choice at that time, which was selected by only about 17%.

After 10 years, the proportion of British people who were interested in walking gradually increased to around 45% and was still highest. Despite some fluctuations in 2000, the firgure for swimming and rugby climb to an equal proportion, at around 27% in 2005. In contrast, snooker and tennis were chosen by a lower percentage, at nearly 23%, and playing golf still attracted the lowest percentage of UK people, at 16% in 2005.

In contrast, a decline was observed in the interest of UK dwellers toward certain sports. Where in 1995 almost 1/3 of the participants gave priority to playing Snooker and Tennis in the next two surveys the ratio Sharply dropped to 22%. Interestingly, Golf remained the least popular activity throughout the green tome period and the percentage of participants accounted for around 15% in most surveys.

Regarding sports whose popularity declined, snooker ranked second in 2000, at 30%, but latter came fourth in the chart, due to a significant decline to about 23% in 2005. Similarly, nearly 30% of respondents said they played tennis in the first surveyed year; however, their participation rate dropped to 22% in both 2000 and 2005. Golf || remained the least played in the given years, with the figure hovering around 15% and 16%.

Ten years later, despite some slight changes, walking and golf respectively maintained their highest and lowest ranks in terms of popularity. Meanwhile, the percentage of swimmers and rugby players rose and reached 27% in 2005, with some fluctuations in 2000. On the contrary, the proportion of people engrossed in snooker and tennis fell by approximately 7%, ending as the second lowest figure.
