The role of a government to support citizens of other countries has been a major topic of concern in today’s society. From my perspective, this practice is feasible, and there are compelling reasons why governments should help people in the global community rather than only focusing on the citizens of their own countries.
In this context of globalisation and international integration, the provision of assistance for peoples of all countries in the world is not an impossible task anymore. One explanation for this is that modern means of transport have transformed the way that international assistance could be given, and now assistance could reach even the most remote places on Earth. For example, thousands of victims of a deadly earthquake in a mountainous city in Nepal were rescued by US and German military helicopters in 2014. One further explanation is that thanks to international banking, the international community could offer a helping hand to any country where the financial system is on the verge of collapse. An excellent example of this is that the saving money of millions of taxpayers and pensioners in Greece was saved by a timely act of the European Commission of injecting a huge amount of bailout money into Greek banks in 2009.
I strongly believe any government must assume the responsibility of helping citizens in other countries. This is mainly because assisting inhabitants in other countries, to some extent, is synonymous with assisting people in the home country. In 2014, hundreds of US and UK doctors and nurses were sent to African countries to cope with the outbreak of Ebola, a dreadful plague, which had killed many thousands by that time. This action prevented the plague from further spreading to other nations, including the US and the UK themselves, considering that there was a free movement of people between countries and there were millions of African migrant workers in the US and the UK at that time. Besides, the act of supporting people all around the world may promote a sense of humanity, which is essential to the sustainable development of the world, because humanity is the foundation of peace and stability.
To conclude, governments must assist citizens of other countries for a clear reason that this feasible act could simultaneously enhance a global sense of humanity and assure their own nationals of a proper living environment.

Some people believe that we should not help people in other countries as long as there are problems in our own society. I disagree with this view because I believe that we should try to help as many people as possible.
On the one hand, I accept that it is important to help our neighbours and fellow citizens. In most communities there are people who are impoverished or disadvantaged in some way. It is possible to find homeless people, for example, in even the wealthiest of cities, and for those who are concerned about this problem, there are usually opportunities to volunteer time or give money to support these people. In the UK, people can help in a variety of ways, from donating clothing to serving free food in a soup kitchen. As the problems are on our doorstep, and there are obvious ways to help, I can understand why some people feel that we should prioritise local charity.
At the same time, I believe that we have an obligation to help those who live beyond our national borders. In some countries, the problems that people face are much more serious than those in our own communities, and it is often even easier to help. For example, when children are dying from curable diseases in African countries, governments and individuals in richer countries can save lives simply by paying for vaccines that already exist. A small donation to an international charity might have a much greater impact than helping in our local area.
In conclusion, it is true that we cannot help everyone, but in my opinion national boundaries should not stop us from helping those who are in need.
We cannot help everyone in the world that needs help, so we should only be concerned - mẫu 3
It is true that we are living in a global village. Every country of the world is connected to each other and every individual has a role to play in society. Some people think that one cannot help everyone in society who is in need. Therefore, people should only show concern to the inhabitants of their own country and community. I completely disagree with the statement for the following reason.
Firstly, every nation today is interdependent on each other. Though, some nations are wealthier than others or require their basic needs for food, clothing and shelter to be fulfilled. According to me, countries that are well to do can help poorer countries to overcome their poverty. For example, some developing nations that have faced natural calamity require financial help to raise their economy. This is possible when another country is willing to do so. This not only provides support to affected countries but also helps to develop international relationships and thus can enhance international trade. Furthermore, many countries like India face problems of unemployment. Other developed nations can resolve this problem by providing job opportunity to the immigrants. These can be achieved in their country to be served by some skilful individuals which, thereby, affects the economic development of the country.
Above all, we are all human beings and inhabitants of this wonderful planet, Earth. We all share the same biology. Therefore, needless to say that all should be helpful to each other. Humans make the world, and humanity should make a better society. Today many worldwide organisations have been formed to sponsor people of different countries or in need. For instance, World Vision, an Australian organisation that sponsors children in different countries so that they can receive a better education and lead a healthy and prosperous life.
To conclude, I believe that everyone in the world is capable of helping others in some way or the other. Therefore, the idea of focusing solely on one's own community and country is questionable.

There are various reasons behind the fact of helping certain people, communities or countries only. First of all, you may not have financial solvency to help a country but certainly, may have the ability to help a community or a particular person. In some cases, you may have the positive intention to aid but which will not be taken warmly due to the culture of the society you live in. On the other hand, the people may not be interested in taking help from you due to different political or religious point of view.
A society has different types of people in terms of their origin, culture, religion, tribes, taboos and political stands which narrow down the probability of providing support to or taking aid from others. It is the nature of human beings to form the community with the people whose mindsets are more or less similar. That’s why one always wants to get help from the group with whom he feels comfortable. Besides this, there is another reason for not getting help from other people is anonymity.
Sometimes unknown people want to help others to get closer to each other so that the aided people can be exploited later by illegal means or taking advantage of the people which he cannot get in any other way. Furthermore, bad people also want to help to take advantage in society, but people are usually not used to taking help from those. However, sometimes, it becomes a question of humanity to aid the people beyond the country like helping the victim of natural disasters or manmade disasters which are usually provided by the government of a country.
In conclusion, I would like to say that helping others is the first condition of humanities but one should only worry about helping his own communities and countries considering his social, cultural and financial limitations.
We cannot help everyone in the world that needs help, so we should only be concerned - mẫu 5
Since man began to think seriously about making life more pleasant, discrimination became an integral and indispensable part of our quest for joy and happiness. Some people stand firmly on the belief that they should be only caring about their own communities and countries, for helping everyone in the world is not possible while there is a considerable number of individuals who tend to think that all countries and communities should be taken into account. As far as I am concerned, we should help each other no matter how far our communities are. The following lines shed more light on the reasons for my preference.
One reason is that in this technological era, all nations and countries are related to each other closely. Therefore, if nations do not support each other, they cannot survive. For example, without a shadow of a doubt, economic trends in one country influence all other countries or at least a great number of other ones. In 2010, the inflation in the USA had a negative effect on developing countries in the Middle East immediately. However, it took some time to feel the same effect in Europe. The point here is that numerous countries encountered this issue at last but not at the same time.
One other reason is that we are all human beings, and it is not ethical just to think of ourselves. Humans have experienced a great deal of bright days and some horrible days in history. The latter was mainly because of discrimination and not pursuing human rights. The most recent one was the Second World War which happened for the same reasons. Hence, not helping one another can lead to a new war and its consequences.
Last but not least, by helping other nations, one nation can develop itself. Now, many advanced countries are trying to help some other developing nations. As an example, Australia is trying to help educate some African countries by funding their youth to study in Australia and then allowing them to go back to develop their own countries. As a result, Australia is known worldwide and has made an appropriate appearance even among developed countries.
Finally, being closely related, avoiding any tensions in the world by putting ethics into practice and developing your own country by helping other nations are the three main points to be indicated when thinking of the reasons to help other nations. If all communities consider the mentioned points, hopefully, the world will not see any new wars and become a better place for sure.

It is irrefutable that all countries make efforts to improve their infrastructure and development in the modern era without any interference from others. The community thinks that every nation is unable to solve the problem of other countries because they do not have sufficient assets as well as funds; therefore, the nation would resolve their internal matter first and attain their intention toward society. However, I endorse the statement to some extent. I have some solid ground to defend my opinion, which I would like to explicate at length in the paragraph to come.
To begin with, the international contribution is offering a strengthening of bonding with one another throughout the world. To explain, aid could be given by funding the development of poor countries for improving the conditions of hospitals and medical training and giving free medicine to ensure good healthcare; this leading needy person or community across the border is likely to set up a correlation with others and offer to exchange possible expects in a serious situation. For instance, during the COVID-19 pandemic, India tried to help and deliver numerous vaccinations, including needed amenities, to average countries, which eventually, those countries controlled their cases of infection with the helping hand of India. In addition, refusing to give a to poor countries could result in hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths.
On the other hand, despite international aid, supporting the nation’s people is more valuable for public interest promotion. In other words, it would be wrong when a country considers the problem of other nations instead of people from native countries. At this point, states need to invest handsome funds to stabilize the various opportunities for people, which they easily engage in and help to improve the economy of the country. For example, several global problems are occurring without being unpredictable. Such as climate change, poverty, inequality in society, or serve disaster. In that case, countries need to be trained on how to tackle their domestic problems rather than expecting help from others.
To put it briefly, I pen down saying that in some poor nations, the condition has created a humanitarian crisis that cannot be ignored by rich countries. Therefore, rich countries must implement world law to contribute with possible sort of help in worse conditions.

Some people opine that we cannot help everyone in the world, and it would be better if we help the needy in our own communities and country. I disagree wholly with the first part of the statement that individuals and countries cannot help everyone who needs help in the world. I believe that in today’s era of globalization there are many national and international organisations through which we can extend a helping hand to anyone in any corner of the world. However, I do agree that we should help our own communities and the country’s people first if they need help.
If one’s own country is developing or underdeveloped and the people around need help, then priority should be given to help those around you first. There are many advantages of direct help. Firstly, a person remains directly in touch with the needy. You can see how your money is being used. There are no mediators and so there are no chances of corruption. It has been well said that charity begins at home. Naturally, if you help those around you, the people in your locality love and respect you and you enjoy a better status in life.
If one belongs to a prosperous country where even the poorest of the poor have all the basic amenities of life, then it would be commendable to help through national and international organisations. You can work on a larger platform and provide help for global issues. A larger platform is a must if you have a lot to offer in charity. Helping activities can be better spread through a larger network. You feel part of a global village. Help is not always in the form of money. It can be in the form of services also. For example, if you are a doctor, you can provide medical aid and if you are a teacher, you can volunteer to teach in the underdeveloped nations.
To put it in a nutshell, I pen down saying that it is human nature to help those who need it. If your own country’s people need help, then they should be helped first. Otherwise, it is good to help people in other parts of the world.
