Sometimes, people think that zoological gardens are a must-have but poor substitute for a natural setting. Some people believe that zoos are necessary, while others disagree and oppose keeping animals in zoos. In the following passage, I go over both sides of the argument and which I strongly concur with.

It is our duty to protect animals because they are an essential component of nature. Animals on the verge of extinction benefit greatly from the conservation efforts undertaken by zoos.

They aid in the preservation of endangered animal species. Second, the animals at zoos are given complete care and attention. They get food, are cleaned, and have all the other necessities. Thirdly, they give people something to do that keeps them occupied. Seeing animals like lions and bears from such a short distance is very fascinating. They not only provide children with entertainment but also teach them about a wide variety of animals while keeping them completely anonymous. They are sparked to learn more about the animal kingdom as a result. Most importantly, they are shielded from the barbaric human activities of hunting and poaching.

However, zoos' drawbacks should never be overlooked. The animals spend their entire lives in chains. Their freedom of movement is restricted. Since elephants and monkeys live in groups, they ought to be released into the wild. Second, because they are unable to hunt, animals completely forget their instincts and may even die as a result. They are completely dependent on others and may become lethargic.

In conclusion, zoos must be visited because they protect the animal kingdom from extinction. Additionally, they provide knowledge. However, herding and group-dwelling animals should remain in their natural habitat.

For centuries, zoos have entertained visitors and educated them about animals. However, the issue of animal confinement in zoos is becoming increasingly contentious. While others refute this, some argue that keeping animals in cages at zoos is both necessary and beneficial to their health. Before drawing a logical conclusion, this essay will examine both sides of the debate.

On the one hand, a lot of people think that keeping animals in a fake zoo is a good way to keep many species from becoming extinct. For instance, numerous breeding programs are in place at the Auckland Zoo to enable animals to mate and reproduce. It's possible that these animals won't be able to mate in the wild, which could result in the extinction of their species. Using this example, it is easy to see why this position is popular.

On the other hand, a lot of people say that keeping animals in a zoo is bad for these primates. For instance, a recent survey revealed that visitors to the Karachi, Pakistan, zoo gave toxic substances to the animals, which was bad for their health. If appropriate safety measures are not taken, animals in zoos can be abused, as this example demonstrates. Therefore, it is clear why this viewpoint has gained support.

When both sides of this argument are considered, it is concluded that keeping animals in zoos has more advantages than disadvantages, provided that safety precautions are taken. Zoos are hoped to continue halting the extinction of endangered species.

Zoos have been amusing and educating humans about animals for centuries. Although the containment of animals in zoos is an increasingly controversial topic. Some argue that confining animals to their cages in zoos is both necessary and healthy, while others refute this. Both sides of this debate will be analysed in this essay before a reasoned conclusion is drawn.

On the one hand, many believe that keeping animals inside the contrived environment of a zoo is a way to save many species from going extinct. For example, the Auckland Zoo has many breeding programs in place to enable animals to mate and reproduce. These animals might not be able to find mating partners in the wild and hence their species could be wiped out. This example makes it clear why many people support this stance.

On the contrary, many argue that the practice of keeping animals in a zoo is harmful to these primates. For instance, a recent survey found out that animals in the zoo in Karachi, Pakistan, were fed toxic substances by the visitors which had an adverse effect on the health of many animals. As this example illustrates, animals in zoos can be abused if proper safety measures are not employed. Hence, it is obvious why this point of view has garnered support.

After looking at both sides of this argument, it is felt that keeping animals in zoos begets greater benefits than disadvantages as long as there are precautionary measures in place to ensure the safety of these animals. It is hoped that zoos will continue to keep endangered species from becoming extinct.

Nothing is more barbaric than destroying the peace of someone's livelihood, poaching them and destroying their natural habitats. Humans from a very ancient time had close coordination with animals and other living creatures. They have been using them as pets, for cultivation and moreover, as food in many ways. Thus, keeping animals in zoos can be considered both negative and positive considering a various perspective of the situations.

Regarding the positive sides, climate change, like wildfires and intensive cold weather, is causing disastrous effects on the lives of animals at an enormous rate. Millions of species are dead, and many are in danger, and rescuing those species of endangered animals from such calamitous situations can be done with the help of an artificial ecosystem like the zoo. Moreover, zoos can be the place for research and considered to be an area where our young generations could enjoy and learn about various rare species.

On the contrary, considering the confinement and artificial ecosystem that animals have to adjust within a zoo, it is often discarded by the environmentalist as an unsafe place for animals and birds. Zoos often are just the place where men could see the animals and enjoy while small iron cages are applied to enclose the otherwise free animals and birds. Moreover, the authorities often try to cash out the animals and entertain the visitors, which is cruel.

When considering the true purpose of zoos and the various benefits they provide to the animal kingdom, as well as the negative effects they can have, it can be concluded that while zoos may sometimes be necessary, they are ultimately a poor alternative to a natural environment.

Zoos have been entertaining and educational for humans about animals for centuries. Although the containment of animals in zoos is an increasingly controversial topic, some argue that confining animals to their cages in zoos is necessary and healthy. The following essay will analyse both sides of this debate.

First and foremost, a zoo cannot retain a natural aura and environment for any animal to survive with its true instinct. Take lion for example. The natural habitat for lions is thick grassland, unrestricted flora and fauna, and brush habitat, from dense forests to iconic savannahs, where they get enough cover for denning and hunting. The habitat also provides food and shelter for the animals that the lions prey on. It is challenging to recreate these ambiences where lions can get everything they have in the wild.

Regardless, zoos necessitate the preservation and maturation of endangered animal species. There are multitudinous animals ranging from various big cats to pandas, rhinoceros, gorillas, pangolins and many more that depend on zoos for their protection and safe breeding shelters. Unfortunately, those animals have been driven to the brink of extinction either by loss of their natural habitat due to rampant development and climatic change or hunted for their fur or alleged medicinal properties. Responsible zoos are tasked with breeding them to stabilise falling populations and then re-introduce them into the wild. Without zoos, many species would likely already have gone extinct.

To conclude, the zoo’s existence benefits the animal kingdom, but it is a rather lousy alternative to a natural environment.
