In the modern world, it is no longer necessary to use animals as food or other products - mẫu 1

It is believed that these days, thanks to various advances and breakthroughs in science and technology, we no longer need to use products from animals, such as food, clothing items or even medicine. I completely agree with this idea.

Many studies show that a plant-based diet not only provides sufficient nutrients for our body to function normally, but also helps us prevent various potential health issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure or heart attacks. My grandfather is a good case in point. He has been a vegetarian for over 60 years, and he is still in good health at the age of 80. In terms of clothing, I strongly believe that it is not necessary to sacrifice an animal’s life for a jacket or a dress. These days, artificial fur and high-quality synthesised fabric are being used to replace animals’ fur or other body parts.

Animal testing has played an essential role in the medical field. In recent years, however, with the development of technology, we can replace animal experimentations with sophisticated computer programs that could provide more accurate results. For instance, computer-based testing has been used to test the safety of new drugs or cancer treatments and has proved effective. It is, therefore, no longer necessary to use animals for new medicine testing or treatments.

In conclusion, for the reasons mentioned above, I believe that products made by killing animals such as food, clothing or medicine are no longer necessities due to the fact that they can be replaced by vegetarian food, artificial clothing materials or computer simulations.

In the modern world, it is no longer necessary to use animals as food or other products - mẫu 2

The argument over the use of animals to provide food, medicine, and clothing has been ongoing for years. Some people consider the killing of animals to produce food and other products to be unnecessary. In my view, I agree with this idea and will discuss several compelling reasons in this essay.

These days, we are faced with many public health challenges regarding poor health conditions, including cancer and heart disease, caused by excessive consumption of meat on a regular and long-term basis. Experts are calling for a change in human diets so that people can enjoy better health. Fortunately, many alternative meat products are available on the market. In fact, vegetarian diets are being favored by a growing number of people and can provide the same amount of nutrients for consumers. In particular, mushrooms and tofu contain high levels of protein, a kind of nutrient presumably only found in meat, and can therefore be used as a substitute.

Furthermore, medical experiments on animals and medicines manufactured from animals’ body parts received little endorsement in the past. Nowadays, herbs and many other types of plant-based medicines, such as ginseng, can cure many diseases, prolong human life expectancy, and aid medical practitioners in the treatment of many illnesses. More seriously, thousands of wild animals, such as tigers and minks, are killed each year, with their fur taken to produce coats and accessories for the fashion industry. There are now similar products made from plants and artificial materials that can fulfill our needs. Animals do not have to suffer for our needs anymore.

In conclusion, I think that our needs and desires do not justify the suffering of animals and animal products are no longer necessary. We can choose a different source of nourishment, medicine and clothing without any toll on wild animals.

In the modern world, it is no longer necessary to use animals as food or other products - mẫu 3

The use of animals for the provision of food, medicine and clothing has been extant for several years. However, the cruel treatment of animals and their slaughter for the purpose of human consumption has evoked the sympathy of numerous people, leading them to declare it an unnecessary practice. I agree with this viewpoint and will elaborate on this in the forthcoming paragraphs.

Firstly, it is needlessly cruel and unjust to the helpless animals to butcher them in order to fulfil our needs. Secondly, excessive consumption of meat on a regular basis can pose risks to our health. As a result, medical professionals are calling for a modification in human diets so that people can experience better health conditions. There has been widespread popularity of plant-based foods and meat substitutes are also widely available. Many people are turning to vegetarianism and veganism to help modify their diets and lifestyles, with them obtaining their protein requirements from a plant-based diet.

Furthermore, research has shown that reducing meat consumption is more conducive to the environment. Additionally, there have been reports of those involved in animal husbandry often using noxious chemical agents and medicines such as antibiotics to boost the growth and meat quality of their animals which further endangers the health of those consuming meat. As for clothing and medicine, ersatz options have been developed thanks to scientific advancement, which renders the extermination of animals futile. Lastly, alternative methods have also been developed for drug and cosmetic testing, which also makes the use of animals in such fields unnecessary.

However, arguments can be made for continuing the use of animal products. It provides a livelihood for several people and stopping animal husbandry would leave such people unemployed. Some people also require animal protein in their diet for health reasons and depriving such people would cause problems.

Thus, in conclusion, it can be said that while there may be a few reasons for utilising animal products, for the most part, their use should be discontinued as it is inhumane, and the gratification of human needs cannot be sufficient for causing such suffering to animals.

In the modern world, it is no longer necessary to use animals as food or other products - mẫu 4

The exploitation of animals has been an unavoidable aspect of human life for most of our history. We have raised and hunted animals for food, used their fur and skin for protection from the elements, and even used their body parts for their supposed medicinal benefits. However, as society advances, we need to consider our effect on other living things, and it seems that we should try to limit or even eliminate our reliance on animal products.

Like all living things, humans need a source of food and protection from the surrounding environment. When we lived as hunter-gatherers and in early agricultural societies, animals were an essential part of our survival, providing us with protein and keeping us warm. Conversely, in a modern context there is minimal need for this. We can get adequate nutrition from vegetarian sources and food scientists are developing lab-grown meat that will soon be indistinguishable from real meat. When we add in the suffering that animals experience in factory farms or in battery cages and the devastating environmental effects of intensive farming, it seems extremely difficult to justify using animals for meat and clothing.

The other major use of animals has been in medicine. Before the advent of modern medical science, people relied on traditional doctors who often used various animal parts to allegedly cure different maladies. Nevertheless, we now live in a brighter world where we not only have better alternatives, but we can demonstrate that these traditional animal-derived treatments are absolutely ineffective. Users and promoters of these types of medicine highlight the worst aspects of human nature as their stubbornness and selfishness leads to the extinction of many of the most majestic animals that have ever walked the earth.

Broadly speaking, in a historical context, the use of animals as food, clothing, and medicine seems understandable. However, in a supposedly enlightened modern society such practices highlight that many of us still think and act like we are nothing more than hairless apes.

In contemporary society, it is argued that there is no necessity to use animals to make food, clothes and medicines. Personally, I totally disagree with this idea because of people’s eating habits, the assistance to people in cold areas and animals’ contribution to the medicine field.

The main reason why I do not believe that it is not necessary for people to consume animal products is that people have formed the habit of eating meat for a long time, which they find it difficult to get rid of. More specifically, human beings in ancient times started to hunt animals to feed themselves, and in modern society, they still regard meat as the main course on the dinner table. Thus, they are not likely to abandon this habit developed for centuries. Meanwhile, meat food contains some nutrients that fruits and vegetables cannot replace. If people do not absorb such elements, their health may be negatively affected.

Another reason is that clothing made of animal fur is of great importance to people dwelling in severely cold areas to withstand the cold. Although it seems that modern technology can make cold-protective coats without using animals, they may not be comfortable to wear because of the lack of good air-permeability. Fur clothes, however, are not the case.

The third reason is that scientists need to develop new medicines by conducting animal experiments. Compared with the money spent carrying out scientific research on human beings, the cost of utilising animals is much lower. Meanwhile, some animals are the key ingredients for some particular medicines, and no other artificial products can be a substitute.

In conclusion, I completely disapprove of the viewpoint that it is not essential to take advantage of animals to produce food, manufacture clothes and make drugs. This is because if animals were not used, people would not eat and wear comfortably and benefit from new medicines.

Trying to live without exploiting animals for food, clothing or medicine can certainly be done nowadays, and people in the modern world seem to agree that it is not 100 percent justified to eat meat, clothe in leather, or use animals as medical research subjects. Therefore, I agree with the given statement that we can do without animal products.

To begin with, a vegetarian diet has proven to be a healthy choice. The earlier beliefs that vegetarian diet is deficient in proteins and other micronutrients, such as vitamins and proteins, have been challenged successfully. On top of that, a vegetarian diet, which is rich in fiber, prevents cancer of the colon, which is the most prevalent cancer in the West, where people mostly eat non-vegetarian food. Even the vegans, the very strict vegetarians who don’t even use animal products such as milk and eggs, have not been seen to be suffering from any malnutrition. So, we can safely spare the animals from becoming our source of such nutrition.

Talking about clothes, today pure leather shoes and garments can be easily replaced by faux leather, which is just like pure leather and only a true connoisseur can tell the difference. Such products have the added advantage of being easier on the pocket, as their initial cost is also less and the maintenance cost is also lesser than that of pure leather products. So, even for clothing, animals can be left alone.

It is true that animals have been used for experimenting new drugs and are also the source of many medicines, but for that too today we have computer-simulated experiments, which give better results than those done on animals. Therefore, animals are not needed anymore in this field also. It is beyond argument that for this Earth to go the distance we must respect nature and its elements. We mustn’t abuse or exploit the animal kingdom because preserving those results in long term and ultimate good for mankind.

To sum up, it can be reiterated that it is definitely possible to lead a good life without depending on animal products, and so we have no right to exploit them.

In the modern world, it is no longer necessary to use animals as food or other products - mẫu 7

Animals play vital roles in the lives of humans. They help fulfill three of the most basic human needs - food, clothing and medicines, but questions about the necessity of animal products arise among several different consumer groups. Personally, I believe in the philosophy in which animals are entitled to the possession of their own existence and that their most basic interests - such as the need to avoid suffering - should be afforded the same consideration as similar interests of human beings.

There are various attractive plant-based options that can substitute for products of animal origin, which could help to encourage more people to reduce consumption of these commodities. People could facilitate a variety of possible routes to developing high-quality alternatives to animal-based foods. For example, we could now produce multiple types of cultured meat, which can replace conventional meat as good sources of nutrients for humans, and we could also invest in synthetic biology for the yeast-based production of ingredients originally from animals, such as egg white and milk. At the same time, with the increased use of synthetic fibers, the use of animal sources of clothing has significantly decreased. Still, medicine is one such area of potential complication for those of us attempting to live as plant-based as possible, because the overwhelming majority of medication contains ingredients or excipients that are not vegan friendly.

In my opinion, we should address the ethical questions about our treatment of animals because they form part of the larger picture of the way society treats all living things. I believe that animals do have feelings, and that unnecessary cruelty toward them is morally wrong. Therefore, animals should no longer be viewed as property or used as food, clothing, research subjects, entertainment, or beasts of burden, for the custom of tormenting and killing of beasts will, by degrees, harden people’s minds even towards men. All in all, consumers’ growing ethical sensitivity about the products that we use could ultimately make our society less impious and more civilized.

In conclusion, I believe that there are various alternatives to animal products, and we should forgo the ruthless exploitation of animals because of ethical reasons. In my opinion, the transition from animal-based to plant-based food, medicines, and clothing production would benefit our civilization.

In the modern world, it is no longer necessary to use animals as food or other products - mẫu 8

With the advance of technology, a colossal number of animal products can be replaced by artificial or synthetic elements in the modern society. As a result, many people claim that there is no longer necessary to consume animals to produce any food, clothing, and medicines. But I personally believe such an opinion is invalid.

Under no circumstance can the animal products be replaced. First of all, the human body cannot depart from meat, since our muscles are built by absorbing the protein coming from meat. And a huge number of necessary nutritions which are crucial to maintain our whole physical system also come animal food products. Thus, without meat, there would be negative effects on our health. In addition, abandoning all the animal products will definitely curb the augment of the economy. More specifically, ifthe market does not consume the animal products anymore, animal husbandry would be totally destroyed, generating the unemployment of hundreds of thousands of farmers, then relatively, social instability would appear, and the economy would collapse. Clearly, it is irrational to forbid animal products.

However, some people argue that human beings have the obligation to stop using any animal products as technology has way developed than before so that the substitution of animal products can be easily found. Unfortunately, such advocates fail to recognize the reality that many animal products, especially some medicines, cannot be replaced. Furthermore, these people do not distinguish the concept between animal preservation and animal products consumption. In other words, abandoning animal products is not the best way to protect the animal.

In conclusion, it is to early to abandon all the animal products, regardless of the valid alternatives resulting from the advance of the technology. And accordingly, the averages should understand that rejecting any animal products does not stand for animal protection.
