A. LÝ THUYẾT

Chúng ta sử dụng câu mệnh lệch cách (imperatives) để đưa ra lời yêu cầu, đề nghị hoặc gợi ý.

Câu mệnh lệnh với “ more” và “less” mang tính chất đưa ra lời khuyên nên làm việc gì nhiều hơn hoặc ít hơn ( more: nhiều hơn, less: ít hơn)

VD

- Do more exercise: tập thể dục nhiều hơn

- Eat more fruit: Ăn nhiều hoa quả hơn

- Sleep more: ngủ nhiều hơn

- Watch less TV: xem ít TV hơn

- Eat less junk food: Ăn ít đồ ăn nhanh.

- Spend less time playing games: Chơi điện tử ít hơn.

Bài 1: Hoàn thành các câu sau, sử dụng câu mệnh lệnh “ more” hoặc “ less” và từ trong ngoặc.

1. You have toothache.  ________(candy).

3. _________(vegetables), and you will feel healthier.
4. The examination is coming.  ________(TV).
