According to the presentation, teenagers mostly play online games, look for news, download, and purchase products when they are online. They rarely search for people. With the increase of age internet users do product search mostly and their second most activity online involves getting news and buying products. Among the 40 to 60 years old internet users, the most common activity is product purchasing. With the increase of age, the download activity decreases and searching for people activity increases. For instance, only 5% of teenagers' activities involve searching for people, but this rate increases to around 30% as they get older. On the other hand, 52% of teenagers’ internet activities involve downloading from the internet while this rate decreases to less than 30% over time. Similarly, the online game playing is most popular among teenagers and this percentage decreases significantly among the grown-up people.
In summary, teenagers mostly download and play games online while matured people mostly search and purchase products online. Getting news and buying products are done by all age group and aged people mostly search for other people online.

As is presented, teenagers typically play online games, look for news, download, and buy products online. Rarely do they search for people. Whilst 80% of teenagers play online games, this table drops to 54% of people in their twenties and 37% in their thirties. Online gaming reaches a low of 25% with people in their fifties and increases in popularity with older people. A similar trend can be seen in the download activity, but they are less popular and decline markedly with people over age 40 – only 6% of people over age 70 download.
Talking about the online product research, it is made by over 70% of all people, except for teenagers. Product research peak in the forties age group, when almost three-quarters of people research for the product in this way. Buying a product online is equally popular with all internet users except either teens or internet users who are 70 years of age or above. Except for teenagers making only five searches out of every 100, between one-quarter and one-third of people look for other people on the internet, depending on age.
In summary, teenagers generally download and play online games while mature age group typically searches and buys products on the internet. Buying products and getting news are done by every aged group.

According to the table, the highest percentages were seen in the “product research” category with most people across the age groups reporting usage at over 70%, while “teens” reported nothing for this category. The highest percent of internet use for teens was reported in the “online games” category at 81%. “Getting the news” and “buying a product” also showed high percentages for the teenage group and all the other ages groups as well, ranging between 68 and 73 percent.
Lower percentages were seen in the “downloads” and “searching for people” categories. People who were over 60 were reported to use the “download” category very little, while teens used it much more often. In fact, “downloads” show a pattern suggesting the younger age, the more use of downloads. “Searching for people” showed slightly higher percentages when compared to “downloads” for the older age groups, with the “teens” age group not really using this option for much.
Overall, most internet usage, for all age groups, were reported in the “getting the news” and “researching a product” categories.
