One of the most perplexing societal issues in the contemporary world is crime. I vehemently disagree with the claim made by some that there is no viable solution to this problem. The essay that follows will outline my viewpoint and look at practical ways to reduce crime.
Crime is a result of the situation. Nobody is a criminal by birth. Society must carefully examine the conditions that breed criminals and work to prevent them. For instance, a person often commits an offense because something is subpar. Therefore, if the government provided for a person's fundamental requirements, such as quality health care, housing, and tertiary education, among other things, the incidences of robbery or other worsening antisocial behavior would be drastically reduced.
The emergence of new technology has made it simpler to proactively monitor criminal activity and stop it before it happens. In other words, since much of this equipment and gadgets can capture video from everywhere at real-time, they have significantly enhanced the surveillance process in police offices. As an example, traffic cameras that capture unlawful behavior and aid in the identification of offenders are one of the best ways to stop drivers who violate the law by driving faster than the posted speed limit. As a consequence, the number of automobile accidents worldwide has significantly decreased during the last few years.
As a result, we are all too aware of this urgent issue of crime. There is a belief that crime cannot be prevented. However, I firmly think that there are several practical answers to this issue, such as governments' support of the death penalty and the use of contemporary technology for proactive surveillance.

In today's climate, criminality is unstoppable. Previously, individuals feared punishment, so few participated. Committing a crime isn't a huge issue in the contemporary world. This horrific act is celebrated. So, they exhibit social power. Due to misperceptions, incidents have grown in recent years.
After witnessing the 2012 Nirbahaya rape, I understood that hostility and anger can push anybody over the line. After being assaulted and violated, she cannot be able to talk. Mentally tormented, not psychically. Despite their cynicism, they were innocent. This type of behavior is risky. If this continues, individuals will become aggressive and dangerous, which legislation cannot stop. Teenagers are now brazen and opinionated. They often steal. To satisfy their demands, individuals develop bad behaviors that might ruin their lives. In a sense, such individuals can do no wrong.
Every action elicits a reaction that is equal and opposite in kind. The rape case and subsequent demonstrations in Nirbahaya in 2012 affected everyone. It had a profound effect on the system. Nevertheless, the sufferer emerged victorious in the end. The nation commended her for her justice. If you are unable to persuade them to change their minds, you will need to find other methods to make them feel awful. Sanctions for mental torture have to be included in the constitution so that everyone is aware of what others go through.
Even if these circumstances cannot be controlled, laws and regulations must be followed. These instances are closely monitored. Different sites have CCTV cameras. Regular patrols discourage unlawful activity. Human rights and safety regulations should be constantly updated.

Across the globe, crime has become more prevalent in the modern era. As a result, some believe that there are no methods to stop criminal activity. This is a viewpoint with which I strongly disagree, since I feel there are possible answers to this issue.
As a first step, the government may use a variety of smart and effective measures, such as imposing harsher jail terms or even the death penalty on criminals. People are more likely to refrain from criminal activity if they are aware of the harsh consequences that await those who do, as seen by the effectiveness of these effective treatments. Since governments have enforced harsher and longer jail terms on malefactors in recent years, studies have found that the number of wrongdoers has fallen. As a result, governments would be unable to address this issue if urgent measures to combat criminals were not in place.
On the other hand, the vast majority of individuals engage in government in order to reduce crime and protect their communities. Many people would think it was impossible for individuals to safeguard society against crime. People form society, and it is our job to work with the government to keep crime in our community and protect our children from its most terrible and abhorrent manifestations. It's not simple, but we have to figure out a way to make it happen.
The bottom line is that in order to live in a society free of crime, everyone in that society must do their part. This includes governments and the general public.

It is true that the rate of crime has far considerably boomed in many parts of the globe. All age groups’ lives have negatively been affected by this inflation, and I think overpopulation, immigration, and employment issues are prominent factors behind it. To tackle them, some important solutions need to be implemented by governments and by the society. I agree that the crime rate in the world has increased but I also believe that this can be tackled.
Obviously, the rate of offence has increased far dramatically in the last decades. One important reason behind it is that expansion of cities and increasing density of people have not been in parallel. Escalation the rate of rage among juveniles, armed robberies, and rape are three obvious examples that unfortunately police and other security authorities have not been successful in controlling them. Another reason is the occupation. Sadly, the number of jobless individuals has fundamentally increased globally. The economic recession occurred in 2008 caused the number of jobless people raised far significantly. For example, only in the USA, this rate reached from 5% to over 10%, causing more citizens to have insufficient income; therefore, Americans committed more money crimes and tax frauds. Lastly, immigration has been another leading reason behind it. Moving and living in other developed countries, immigrants have committed more violations because they have faced more financial problems, and they intentionally or unintentionally crossed the lines, which have been extremely important for the local government.
To address this problem, some proactive actions must be considered by administrations across the world. One is controlling the population, especially in central cities. Restricting those rural people deciding to move into urban areas, the rate of crime will become more controllable. In particular, in Tehran, the living cost was dramatically pulled up as the government decided to prevent people living in the suburbs from moving into Tehran. This led to the state being able to control better violators, according to a local press report. Moreover, governments must open better job opportunities for job seekers. Definitely, had the U.S authorities valued more the unemployed citizens; the rate of vandalism would have declined far significantly. And last but not least, immigrants must be valued more. Instead of uncontrollably increasing their numbers, the host country must raise the needed budget for their training, accommodation, and create more job opportunities.
To sum up, crime rates have escalated on the Earth. To prohibit them, I personally believe that governments of countries must improve job positions for both local residents and immigrants, and controlling of the population in cities must be a leading priority.

Crime is unquestionably one of the most prevailing and worrying aspects in any society, and its prevention should be taken seriously. Crime prevention can be executed in various ways, firstly through a sustained honest presence in the community and secondly through international cooperation.
A local presence by incorruptible law enforcement authorities may be costly, however, the long-term investment would pay dividends in the future. A safer region would encourage trade and investment and set an invaluable example for younger generations. For example, crime has dramatically been reduced in the Favelas around Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. This was achieved largely through the government committing large funds of money to stationing police headquarters in and around the slums. These financial expenditures greatly benefited the community.
Secondly, due to the large-scale severity and the global impact that crime has in some areas of the world, global cooperation is critical. Operating in a different way would incur significant financial losses and render any expenditure futile. For example, Somalian pirates in Africa have reigned terror amongst many ocean transport companies in the area. Only through large-scale international cooperation was policing the area possible. Therefore, crime reduction can be attributed to a joint effort between countries.
To conclude, illegal activities are a costly and dangerous fact in the present global economy; however, through large-scale government investment prevention is an attainable goal. Also, spreading the expense through international cooperation the resources invested can be significantly more effective in reducing criminals’ effectiveness abroad.

Crime is one of the major issues that all the countries have been facing recently. Some people believe that there is nothing that can be done to prevent crime. I completely disagree with this opinion and feel that the crime rate can be controlled with appropriate measures.
On one side of the argument, there are some people who believe that crime cannot be regulated. According to them, criminals prevail all over the world and they try to commit various illegal activities. No matter how many prevention measures are taken by the individuals and the government, several people make their daily living through activities like robbery, theft, murder, hate crimes, and others.
On the other hand, there are people who argue that crime can be prevented. The government needs to frame strict rules to control crime. Also, there should be fear of punishment. For example, the crime in the US is just 2% whereas in Somalia it is 50% and the main reason is strict rules in the US. Apart from the government, individuals can contribute to preventing crime through strict family values and monitoring their children on a daily basis. Thus, it cannot go without saying that crime cannot be prevented.
After having discussed the pertinent points related to the issue, I feel that the only logical conclusion is that crime can be prevented through appropriate action by the government and individuals.

Crime prevention has long been a contentious issue. While some argue that it is impossible to completely prevent criminal activities, I contend that enhanced living standards, stricter punishments, and informed education can significantly reduce crime.
On one hand, the belief persists that preventing crime requires substantial financial resources, primarily allocated towards essential protective gear, firearms, and the salaries of law enforcement personnel. However, amidst current global concerns like overpopulation, public health crises, and pollution, governments often prioritize these issues, thereby limiting funds available for crime prevention measures. Moreover, existing punishments are often perceived as insufficiently severe; for instance, in Vietnam, minor traffic violations such as running red lights or jaywalking incur only minor fines, which are insufficient as preventive measures against repeat offenses.
On the other hand, despite these challenges, I believe effective crime prevention is achievable. Improved living standards worldwide have diminished incentives for criminal behavior by providing better facilities, ensuring easier access to basic needs, and creating employment opportunities. Furthermore, imposing stricter penalties for criminal activities logically deters individuals from engaging in unlawful behavior. It stands to reason that if people understand the severe consequences awaiting them, they will be less likely to commit crimes in the first place. Additionally, integrating crime prevention education into current school curricula would equip students with knowledge about various criminal activities and strategies to combat them, ultimately leading to a significant decrease in crime rates.
In conclusion, while concerns about crime prevention persist due to financial constraints and ineffective preventive measures, I am convinced that with improved living standards, stricter punishments, and better education on crime prevention, significant progress can be made in reducing and ultimately preventing crimes.
