Nga: Đến xem tập ảnh của mình đi.

Mi: Đẹp quá! Cô gái này là ai vậy?

Nga: À! Đó là Lan, bạn cũ của mình đấy.

Mi: Bạn quen cô ấy lâu chưa?

Nga: Mình đã quen cô ấy 6 năm rồi.

Mi: Gần đây bạn có gặp cô ấy không?

Nga: Không. Mình đã không gặp cô ấy từ năm 2003. Cô ấy chuyển tới Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh với gia đình từ đấy.

A: I've known her for three weeks.

2. Work with a partner. Imagine you and your partner are visitting Ho Chi Minh City. Ask and answer questions about the things you have done. Use the present prefect tense of the verbs in the box. Yes, I think it's very delicious.

Yes, I've already seen it.

- Have you eaten French food yet?

Yes, it's very tasty.

L: No, I haven't, because I don't like it. I'd rather watch television programmes.

M: Have you ever ridden an elephant?

N: No, I haven't.

M: Do you like to ride it?

N: Yes. I hope I'll have an occasion to ride it.

O: Have you eaten a durian?

H: Yes, I have.

O: When did you last eat it?

H: Last month. When I visited my uncle in my home village.

4. Read the first sentence and then complete the second sentence with the same meaning. Use the passive form.(Các bạn hãy dùng từ gợi ý viết lại câu đề bài cho sao cho nghĩa không thay đổi (sử dụng dạng bị động).)

Example:

They sell jeans all over the world.

=>Jeans are sold all over the world.

a. Jean cloth was made from cotton in the 18^th century.

b. Rice is grown in tropical countries.

c. Five million bottles of champagne ill be produced in France next year.

d. A new style of jeans has just been introduced in the USA.

e. Two department stores have been built this year.

5. Change the sentences from the active into the passive. (Chuyển các câu chủ động sau sang dạng bị động:)

Example:

You must do this exercise carefully.

=> This exercise must be done carefully.

a. The problem can be solved.

b. Experiments on animals should be stopped.

c. Life might be found on another planet.

d. All the schools in the city have to be improved.

e. A new bridge is going to be built in the area.
