(CÂU ĐIỀU KIỆN)

A.  LÝ THYẾT CÂU ĐIỀU KIỆN LOẠI 1

1. Câu điều kiện loại 1 còn được gọi là câu điều kiện có thực ở hiện tại. Điều kiện có thể xảy ra ở hiện tại hoặc tương lai. Diễn tả sự việc có thể xảy ra trong hiện tại hoặc tương lai.
   1. Cấu trúc – công thức

If + S + V (hiện tại), S + will + V (nguyên mẫu)

Trong mệnh đề điều kiện, động từ (V) chia ở thì hiện tại. Trong mệnh đề chính, động từ (V) chia ở dạng nguyên thể.

=> Nói cách khác, ở câu điều kiện loại 1, mệnh đề IF dùng thì hiện tại đơn. Mệnh đề chính dùng thi tương lai đơn.

Eg : 

If I tell her everything, she will know how much I love her. 

=> Trong mệnh đề điều kiện, động từ tell chia ở hiện tại, còn ở mệnh đề chính, động từ know chia ở dạng nguyên mẫu.

If it rains, we will not go to the cinema. 

=> Trong mệnh đề điều kiện, động từ rains chia ở thì hiện tại, còn ở mệnh đề chính, động từ go được để ở dạng nguyên mẫu.

     3. Cách dùng câu điều kiện loại 1

a. Chỉ sự việc có thể xảy ra ở hiện tại hoặc tương lai:

Eg:  If I get up early in the morning, I will go to school on time. 

b. Có thể sử dụng để đề nghị và gợi ý:

Eg:  If you need a ticket, I can get you one. 

c. Dùng để cảnh báo hoặc đe dọa:

Eg:  If you come in, he will kill you.

4. Một số trường hợp đặc biệt

a. Đôi khi có thể sử dụng thì hiện tại đơn trong cả hai mệnh đề.  

Cách dùng này có nghĩa là sự việc này luôn tự động xảy ra theo sau sự việc khác.

Eg:  If David has any money, he spends it. 

b. Có thể sử dụng “will” trong mệnh đề IF khi chúng ta đưa ra yêu cầu

Eg:  If you’ll wait a moment, I’ll find someone to help you. (= Please wait a moment)

c. Có thể sử dụng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn (chẳng hạn như “are doing”) hoặc hiện tại hoàn thành ( chẳng hạn như “have done”) trong mệnh đề IF

Eg:  If we’re expecting a lot of visitors, the museum will need a good clean.

EX : Chia động từ trong ngoặc

C. BÀI TẬP RÈN LUYỆN

I. Điền thông tin thực của nhiều kiểu người khác nhau vào trong câu với “if + Present Simple + Present Simple”. Hãy dùng “you” làm chủ từ của cả hai vế câu. 

1.Vegetarians don't eat meat.

II. Hoàn thành những câu sau với “if + Present Simple + will/won't”, sử dụng những từ trong ngoặc đơn ( ). Đôi khi bạn không cần thay đổi những từ trong ngoặc đơn.

III. Hoàn thành những đoạn đối thoại sau với thì hiện tại đơn hoặc dạng “will/won't” của những từ trong ngoặc đơn ( ). Đôi khi bạn không cần thay đổi từ trong ngoặc đơn.

-----> B: Well, if we take (we/take) a bus at six o'clock, we won't be (we/not/be) late.

1. A: I'd like a magazine.
