Nowadays, there is more and more competition for getting into university. Is this a positive - mẫu 1

As the number of university applicants continues to rise, a debate has emerged regarding whether this growing competition yields positive or negative consequences. In my opinion, competition is positive in this case despite the increased emotional burden it engenders.

One of the major drawbacks of increased university competition is the mounting pressure it places on students. Intense competition often leads to heightened stress levels, anxiety, and mental health issues. Countless students face sleepless nights, burnout, and compromised well-being due to the overwhelming pressure to outshine their peers. For instance, research conducted by the American Psychological Association revealed that high-stakes academic competitions and examinations can contribute to elevated levels of stress and anxiety disorders. Consequently, this negative impact on mental health can hinder students’ overall development and well-rounded growth.

On the other hand, intense competition can also act as a driving force that motivates students to strive for excellence and unleash their full potential. When faced with a highly competitive environment, students are incentivized to become more focused, disciplined, and goal-oriented. They are then more likely to develop a strong work ethic, perseverance, and resilience, which are essential qualities for success in various aspects of life. There is therefore an increased likelihood that students who have overcome intense competition during their university admissions process will display higher levels of determination and tenacity in their future endeavors, leading to potentially greater achievements in their careers.

In conclusion, escalating competition for university admission increases stress levels among students, yet more importantly fosters personal growth. Individuals must learn methods to manage their anxiety as it will prepare them for greater achievement later in life as well.

In recent years, there has been increasingly intense competition for university admissions. In my opinion, although this propensity engenders a more skilled labor force, it places immense pressure on students, which is unequivocally negative.

Those in favor of more intense competition argue it contributes to a superior workforce. When universities in general raise their admission standards, students have to study more intensively to maximize their chances of being accepted. A pertinent example of this is in China where difficult university entrance examinations encourage excellent, disciplined, and hard-working students. The fact that only the best students can pursue tertiary education typically translates to a more productive division of labor in society. This is one of the deciding factors that has pushed countries like China to not only enjoy significantly improved living standards for the average person but also advance economically as a collective nation.

However, I would contend the pressure placed on students outweighs the perceived benefits. Fierce competition to enter prestigious universities may compel students to sacrifice personal priorities such as sleep and their hobbies to allocate more time towards studying, which often results in long-term mental and physical health deterioration. Recently conducted research and surveys have shown that high school students in China experience social and familial pressure to study twelve hours or more a day in preparation for the national undergraduate admission exams. This in turn predisposes many students to developing anxiety disorders and clinical depression. As each student must study hard to excel, this perpetuates the cycle of stress and burnout.

In conclusion, despite the positives concomitant with economic growth, increased competition to enroll in leading universities is decidedly negative since it leads to unfavorable health outcomes for students. Regulatory bodies should de-emphasis on selective testing and focus more on equal opportunity initiatives.

In recent years it has been observed that, competition among individuals for getting into a university increasing day by day. This essay will discuss about why this trend has both positive and negative implications.

On the one hand, enrolling into an Indian university comes with challenges, several examinations like CUCET, JEE, and MAINS have to be passed for getting a top university moreover, the rising population of the country which leads to more struggle because seats in universities are limited, and students are too much which is the main reason. For instance, Delhi University have limited seats of hundred per program and the examinees are in lakhs due to which a lot of students fail to get enrolled in university. Therefore, many students leave the country which effects the economy of the country.

On the other hand, students who failed to get an institution have options to study abroad, as foriegn universities do not require examinations for enrollement and also have reputation globally which is easy as compared to India not only this, it offers student a vibrant range of courses with providing modern amenities but also enhance the overall personality of students likewise their communication skills. Hence, foriegn universities are more realiable and deliver valuable education.

In conclusion, the rising population affects competition among students, making access to limited admissions challenging. However, there are also options to enroll in foreign universities that offer valuable insights. Overall, this trend represents a mixed development, with both positive and negative consequences depending on how well it is managed.
