Ngữ pháp Quite, Rather, Pretty và Fairly

I. Cách sử dụng Fairly

How was the film? ~Fairly good. Not the best one I've seen this year.
I speak Russian fairly well - enough for every purposes. (Tớ nói tiếng Nga khá ổn - đủ để dùng hàng ngày.)

II.

How was the film? ~ Quite good. You ought to go. (Bộ phim đó thế nào? ~ Cũng khá là hay đấy. Cậu nên đi xem đi.)
It's quite a difficult book - I had trouble with it.
He's lived in St Petersburg, so he speaks Russian quite well.
I quite enjoyed myself at your party. (Tớ đã khá là vui khi ở bữa tiệc của cậu.)
The room was quite a mess. (Căn phòng khá là bừa bãi.)

III.
How was the film? ~Rather good - I was surprised. (Bộ phim thế nào? ~ Khá là hay - tớ đã rất bất ngờ luôn.)
Maurice speaks Russian rather well. People often think he is Russian.
I think I'll put the heating on. It's rather cold. (Tớ nghĩ tớ sẽ bật lò sưởi lên thôi. Trời khá là lạnh.)
I've had rather a long day.

I rather think we're going to lose.
She rather likes gardening. (Cô ấy khá là thích làm vườn.)
It was rather a disappointment. (Việc đó cũng khá là thất vọng.)

IV.

How's things? ~ Pretty good. You OK? (Mọi chuyện thế nào? ~ Khá là ổn. Cậu cũng ổn chứ hả?)
You're driving pretty fast.

I've pretty well finished. (Tớ gần hoàn thành rồi.)
